SVP AUSTIN WELCOMES TWO NEW BOARD MEMBERS
SVP Austin Welcomes Lily McClure and Sarah Taylor to Board of Directors
AUSTIN, TX (AUGUST 11, 2025)— SVP Austin is proud to announce the appointment of two dynamic community leaders, Lily McClure and Sarah Taylor, to its Board of Directors. Their combined expertise, passion for social impact, and deep roots in the Austin community will help guide SVP Austin’s mission of amplifying the work of local nonprofits through pro bono professional services.
Lily McClure has spent over a decade designing human-centered solutions that help organizations flourish—from launching an employee experience consulting practice to revolutionizing how Texas develops its 3,500+ public health workforce. She brings this same passion for strengthening systems to her community service, including roles as 2025 Board Chair for Generation SERVE, PTA Advocacy Chair and graduate of AISD's UpClose Program.
“Social Venture Partners has been transformative in my own journey. It's where I've built strong relationships with like-minded people, deepened my understanding of effective philanthropy, and witnessed firsthand how strategic partnership can amplify social impact. Joining the board feels like a natural next step to pour back into an organization that has given me so much,” said McClure.
Sarah Taylor is a Philanthropy Advisor and the Founder of Taylor Impact Group, where she helps individuals, families, foundations, and companies give with greater clarity, purpose, and impact. With more than a decade of experience designing and leading social impact strategies at the intersection of business and community, she brings deep expertise in strategic planning, donor advising, nonprofit partnerships, and corporate philanthropy, including building philanthropic programs at Tito's Handmade Vodka and Vista Equity Partners. Sarah is a Certified Impact Philanthropy Advisor (IPA) and a 21/64 Certified Advisor.
“I’m honored to support a mission that recognizes the critical role nonprofits play in shaping healthy, thriving communities. I believe deeply in the power of trusted relationships with nonprofit leaders and the importance of elevating their expertise to build a more equitable and connected society. I’m looking forward to working alongside the SVPA board team in support of Austin nonprofits,” said Taylor.
As board members, Lily and Sarah will contribute to SVP Austin’s strategic direction, strengthen community partnerships, and champion the organization as demand continues to grow in the nonprofit community.
“We could not be more grateful and excited to have both Lily and Sarah join our board,” said Lynne Skinner, Executive Director of SVP Austin. “They each bring fresh perspectives and keen insights that will uplift our mission as we grow and serve during these uncertain times.”
